We build small production systems: an assistant that answers from a company's own documents, a process that stops asking people to do the same thing twice, a dashboard that shows the numbers and where they came from. Python, TypeScript, a bit of SQL, a lot of reading.

The role is by the hour, on purpose. Some weeks you take four hours, some weeks you take none. What we need is someone who can pick up a task that is well written down, build it without drama, and leave it documented enough that the next person — who might be you, six months later — can change it.

Everything we build is open source or belongs to the client. You will not write a black box for somebody who cannot read it.

You are the person who stands in front of a shop in Cholula and shows the owner how an AI assistant answers their customers. Half the job is listening: what does this business actually lose time on, what does it already answer badly, who picks up the phone. The other half is building the smallest assistant that fixes one of those, in Spanish, in a week, and putting it to work for real.

You do not need to be an engineer. You need to like people, notice the friction in a business, and be able to write a clear sentence about what an assistant should say. We build the assistant; you put it in the shop and make it work.

This is part of a small team in Cholula. Hours are set by the businesses, not by an office.

A widget is the small piece of a product that lives inside someone else's screen: the order panel inside the shop's system, the summary card inside the accounting tool, the reply button inside the WhatsApp thread. Nobody asks for it by name; everybody feels it when it is missing or when it is ugly.

You design those pieces and write the rules they follow. You work with the engineers who build them, not around them. You will argue about spacing, about what happens when a name is very long, about the difference between a button and a link — and you will be right often enough to be worth listening to.

We care about the boring parts: keyboard, screen reader, a phone in the sun, a loading state that does not look broken. Most of our clients use these tools all day, every day.
